HUMANITARIAN WOMEN'S NETWORK
OUR MISSION IS TO ACHIEVE A WORK ENVIRONMENT WHERE WOMEN ARE ABLE TO WORK IN THE HUMANITARIAN INDUSTRY FREE FROM DISCRIMINATION, HARASSMENT AND ABUSE.
Founded in 2015, HWN has grown from the original 5 co-founders to over 8,000 women in 50 countries around the world. We focus on professional development, peer support, and global advocacy to realize institutional and cultural change for women aid professionals that allows us achieve our professional and personal goals together.
At HWN, we believe that our network is our strength. We're over 8,000 women working in 100+ UN/NGO agencies in 50+ countries. There are few places left on the planet where you can't find an HWN-er. As humanitarians, we move around a lot. But that makes it all the more important to find ways to stay connected and support each other. We've got your back.
We currently have active hubs in Geneva, Bangkok, Juba, Boston and La Paz and more are being organized around the world. To find the HWN hub nearest you, check out our Facebook page or e-mail us directly.
